Compilation of Fall 2015

I have my older blog that had all these posts. When I went to change my business, I realized that I was going to lose all my older posts! That made me so sad! So. What I will do is post a compilation of my 2015 fall clients here; and slowly add in all my older posts leading up to my most recent work!

{{Tenney Family}}--Fountain Hills

I have known Jimmy for basically my whole life. We have been good friends since we were 13 though. I love this little family.

Jimmy and Bre got married 2 months after me and Jace and we both struggle with infertility issues.
They went a different route though to get their family...they became foster parents!!! I cant even imagine going from no kids, to 4 kids (and one has special needs)!!! They are rock stars in my book!!

The adoption date is set for 2 of the kids and it looks like the other 2 will follow soon after.
It makes my heart happy.

Jimmy wanted to have an "outdoorsy" feeling for their shoot. I gave them multiple ideas and then we decided on fountain hills. This is a gem of a city. Small town feeling with such a welcoming community and GREAT park!! I absolutely love that fountain/lake/ducks.

It was a Saturday morning with quite the windstorm going--we were juggling the wind, clouds moving every 30 seconds, passerbys, dogs, as well as the Frisbee discs flying at us from guys playing an intense game of Frisbee golf.

Their kids are so fun to be around. Such little personalities!!

Love the duck in the background.

{{Wilcken Family}}--Gilbert Temple

I love getting to meet new people with my business...but there is just something about working with family and loved ones that makes me so happy!! My cousin Becky and her family are very dear to my heart. Becky has always been more of a sister to me than a cousin. According to her, their last family pictures were about 3 years ago. Their 3rd baby was only a year and a half and they didn't have their little caboose baby yet!

The Gilbert Temple is beautiful. I have only been once (i was super pregnant and being wheeled around in a wheelchair) so I was happy to go back for this shoot!! It was SO busy!! In the short time I was there I watched 4 couples walk out after getting married. :)

I loved spending time with their family. They are seriously the cutest ever.

{{Cooley Family}}--Gilbert Temple

I'm so grateful to be able to have multiple jobs that I love!

It gives me great joy to make someone feel good about themselves or feel happy.

I don't know the Cooley family very well, but when we bought our house, we moved into their ward. I am so happy that they trusted me with their family pictures! The parents are very sweet and those kids are just too cute!!! They were good sports. Especially after a series of events led to their shoot being an hour late. Their new baby is just about a month old and was so hungry and tired by the end. I think my favorite shots were the "real" ones of all the kids "being done" with the photo shoot.

Thanks Cooleys!! Enjoy.

{{Bullock Family}}--Mesa Riverview

This sweet family lives across the street from my parents.
They are the picture perfect family.
Loving, adorable, and FUN!

We did pictures the Saturday after Thanksgiving in one of the new parks...
to say it was crowded would be an understatement!! However, we got rolling and boy was it fun!! Mom brought a water bottle to smooth hair down, and dad used that to get everybody giggling the rest of the shoot. I had so much fun.

Thanks Bullock family for letting me hang out with your family for a bit!!

{{Troy & Casey Engagements}}--Mesa Riverview

Troy is one of my very oldest friends. We have been in each others lives for 17 years. Troy is seriously one of the best people I know. He is someone I can always count on. Well, troy found Casey. And I love her!! I think she is just perfect for Troy. They compliment one another very well. Since they both currently reside in San Diego, we don't get to see much of them. The wedding is here in Mesa in March, but I was secretly hoping they would be down for Thanksgiving or Christmas so I could surprise them and take some fun pictures for them!! Luckily they did come for Thanksgiving and stayed just long enough for me to get to see them and take some pictures.

I decided to do something different than I have, and take pictures at Riverview park in Mesa. It was on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and it was PACKED! However, the park is so big now, that even with a million people and dogs, we were able to get some great shots.

I love capturing moments. I love the realness that comes through.

{{Baby Graeme}}

My best friend Katie birthed a sweet little guy 5 months ago. :)

Well, Katie decided that for Graeme's first Christmas we would do a 6 month holiday shoot for her Christmas cards. I was so happy to do them!!! He was so snuggly and squishy and I just wanted to hold him forever.

Graeme was tired and so all he wanted to do was to be held. It made for an interesting photo shoot. And sure enough...as soon as we let him just rest on his Grandma's lap, he promptly fell asleep.
Cute little fella.

{{Ziadeh Family}}--Desert Breeze Park

I had my last photo shoot of 2015 yesterday!! It was so wonderful to look back at the past few months and see my growth in my photography. I have been blessed to work with some amazing people and help create some new memories for them.

The Ziadeh family is one of a kind! Falin and Anton are a powerhouse couple. They have a beautiful little boy and just welcomed their little princess 4 weeks ago. They were in town from California for the holidays and we squeezed in a photo shoot before they left. It was a true Arizona winter day...50 degrees and windy. :)

I love my job. I love getting to know new people, experience new things, and make others happy.
